69th North Carolina, Co. A

Re-enactors & Living Historians

As you may have noticed, our group is not restricted as a men-only organization.  In fact, many of us have wives, fiancées, or girlfriends without whom we would hardly be the men we are.  The ladies are an important part of the 69th North Carolina and often are our saving grace!  Between sewing patches on our uniforms, attending tea socials, shopping in the sutlers, and of course, keeping up with the scruffy, smelly, and coarse camp life, there is no shortage of things for our ladies to do!

Be sure to check out Mrs. Melissa's "Wonderfully Woven" hand-sewn period items that are sure to please!

The shirt you see pictured below is an example of the type of shirt WonderfullyWoven offers.  It is made to the U.S. and C.S. Army specifications and is the type issued to the soldiers of both armies.  It is made of a lightweight cotton muslin and very roomy and comfortable.  Contains 1 metal button at the collar and on each sleeve cuff.

Also available in cotton print for an additional $5 ($7 for XXL and larger).  Style and color of print chosen at seamstress's discretion.

Please email wonderfullywoven@aol.com to place an order.  Please specify size and muslin or print.

Price for muslin shirt is $20 for sizes up to XXL.  Larger sizes will be $2 extra.
